I don't really like aftermarket infotainment. Tiny buttons, forever to load, poor integration...

I know there's adapters and interfaces and blah blah blah but they're never OEM good.

RCD330 with DAB would be perfect. Frankly all I use the way more expensive/advanced Discover Pro in my MK7 for is Carplay and DAB.

Sony do this which doesn't look too bad:

Just to update you all. It’s here and was fitted in about 15 minutes apparently (the wife did it). Looks factory, CarPlay seems to work, parking sensor visuals work, and the radio station names do display. Under £200 delivered. Saving about £500 on the other Pioneer/Sony etc options that we were researching. I’ll keep you updated but all seems good at the moment.
Hi, I know this was a while ago but can I ask are the FM radio stations storeable as presets and visible, or do you have to search frequencies to find a new station every single time? This is the only thing putting me off getting one.

Do you know the long model number of yours and the firmware version? Maybe there are some that have better radio hardware/firmware than others.
