Can I re-map an Allroad 2.7t?
Discussion
See that funny big blue thing when you look up outside?
Tuning limit for a 2.7 is somewhere past that

How fast you can go is limited by nothing but the depth of your pockets and size of your wedding tackle.

I would strongly recommend MRC Tuning in Banbury. They do everything from servicing to hardcore modifications, and have two of their own highly modified 2.7 S4's putting out 450+bhp. I have no connection other than being a happy customer who used to drive up from London to Banbury for them to service and work on my B5 S4. www.mrctuning.com
Also, have a look at www.rs246.com - loads of info on modifying the 2.7T there.

£500 for another 40+ bhp and 130nm sounds very interesting.
I wonder if they do autos as well?
As in map the engine on an automatic car or map the gearbox?I wonder if they do autos as well?
I know they have successfully played with RS6 gearboxes.
The mapping of the gearbox seems fine to me, I've got lots of choice between D, S or using the tip buttons. I'm not sure what benefits a gearbox remap would bring.
The best bet would be to give them a call and speak to Doug, Lucas or Mik but I'm sure that the autobox will handle the increased torque.
Mapping the gearbox, certainly in the case of the RS6 anyway, improves the responsiveness and smoothes out gear changes. Probably not at all neccessary for the Allroad though.
