Advice needed on wheels!
Discussion
Hi guys.
I have a 2009 Audi A4 (B8) and have been offered a great deal on a set of winter wheels with tyres, which is almost too good to turn down.
The only thing is is that they are for a B8 allroad and I'm wondering if they'll fit ok without rubbing?
I know the wheels will protrude further and the rolling radius will be greater but if they don't rub I'll be happy enough.
My current setup:
225/50 R17
RIM SIZE: 7J X 17
OFFSET: ET46
The proposed winter setup:
225/55 R17
RIM SIZE: 7.5J X 17
OFFSET: ET28
Any advice will be much appreciated!

Thanks for the reply.
Going by my calculations these wheels will protrude 24mm more than my current wheels so I'll in terms of outer clearance it's the equivalent of fitting 24mm spacers.
I think it may be viable but I will have to fit lower profile tyres.
The difference is 18mm, if you are going to buy some new tyres for these would it not be easier getting some wheels that are the correct offset !Going by my calculations these wheels will protrude 24mm more than my current wheels so I'll in terms of outer clearance it's the equivalent of fitting 24mm spacers.
