2012 Polo 1.2 TDI - Replacement Clutch
Discussion
I wonder if anyone with mechanical knowledge of the subject car could help, the clutch in our Polo is knackered so going to be replaced, but the garage I use (know/trust) have quoted it as a 6-7hrs job (so the associated cost running into many 100's) and acknowledge it's unusual but more work than many other cars.
Does this sound right? They do a high quality of work and have never charged silly money for work in the past so as long as they aren't having me on I am happy for them to do it. I tried calling the local VW deal to get a quote for them to do it, sadly just the usual merry go round of diversions until you reach a number they won't answer as they don't seem to like quoting..
I have tried googling this but not having much luck - a lot about clutches in the older models but not this one.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
