Audi S4 advice
Discussion
Thanks Vic.
Made the classic mistake - bought the first one I saw last night It's in excellent condition and had a full years Audi warranty on it. Blue with black leather interior, 54K miles - £16K. Hey Ho
Now to check those links and see where I went wrong !
edit> Forgot to say it's a facelift Yr 2000 and completely standard.

Congrats...I have a blue 2000 with leather & 42k miles. dare I say it but you certainly paid retail for yours..
There is a decent Autocar road test of the car vs M3 evo & C43....the tester is spot on...the car drives very well up to 7/10 ths,,,then the understeer sets in...as long as you drive it that way you can make very decent progress using the 400nm of torque available at lower revs.
I find it quite an interesting car to drive, certainly enjoying it more than I ever thought i would....be interesting to hear your thoughts after a few weeks.
Yeah, perhaps. I sold my 'work car' last week and was having to use my V8S for work which was proving expensive - and I was getting strange looks from clients! Guess I paid for the convenience and the warranty.
Anyway, picking the car up early next week. Sounds like the handling will be similar to my old Peugeot 406 coupe - but hopefully without the torque steer.
Let you know how I get on
