Calling all S3 owners

I sold my TVR chimaera a fortnight ago and am thinking of buying a S3, What are they like ?, which one is best 210 or 225 ?, anybody got the 18" alloys ?, any problems so far ?, price of servicing ?, MPG ?, etc.

Thanks you all the replies, a practical car is what i really need, i'm going to wait to see what the new S3 3.2 is like before i make any decisions, tried out a 03' 130 TDI sport last week and thats plenty of fun to drive with 50mpg, it kept up with a 2.5 V6 Vectra on the motorway,with 229lbft of torque it felt the same pulling as the chimaera 400 at 80mph in top.
