tv + A8

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. At the moment the A8 is away getting a little repair, so I can't measure this myself and I can't find any dimensions of the boot online. What I am wondering is whether a 42" tv will fit in the boot of an A8L? The tv will be unboxed and not very protected so I can't put it on the back seats or anything like tat.

Thanks for the reply - checked the tvs dimensions, looks like it will fit.

so far the A8 has been loaded up with old mattresses strapped on the roof to take to the dump, been used for my 17 yo son to ferry his friends around and now it shall be transporting a tv across half of england - what a practical car!

btw, how are you finding your one?

completely agree with the tyre noise problem - I reckon it's probably because everything else is so quiet so the tire noise is more noticeable - very annoying though!

and yep, the fuel economy is good - the wife can get 40mpg out of ours (3.0 diesel) although i only seem to manage mid-20s....wonder why that is

Nah, they drive the S class/7 series. A8s are driven by young looking men with a full head of hair and a perfect life!
