Stunning. Slightly lower than std? Side profile looks fantastic.
Agree, looks too levels and needs to be at least an inch higher at the rear if they are 16" fronts, and 3/4" front and 1 1/4" rear if standard. I'd be really fearful of losing the exhaust and damaging the sump being that low. If you've got a hex sump plug be very careful you don't catch it.
Looks in fab condition though.

Wow folks - thank you for the warm welcome (or should that be hot given the record weather!)
Indeed Ian - lol - my wife certainly thinks I'm in the Mad House.
Really appreciate your comments. The Griff is a 1996 with just over 40k on the clock. To say I am thrilled with the colour combo and the condition is an understatement and suppose its fate that I held out for the right one. She looks good on the surface and indeed has a very decent chassis too, just some surface rust which I'm tackling. Must say the seemingly overload on cable ties probably did not do many Griffs much good. There is much to do in the bay and some tidying up of details which I'm doing day by day. Body is good but is still in need of a DA exercise which I'm planning when the weather (dare I say) cools down. A great credit to mainly its last owner of many years.
Re ride height - I agree entrirely - tis a bit low for my liking but am very conscious on the routes taken whenever I'm out in her until I get a chance to get it sorted. The fronts are 15s and rears 16 as standard - probably just the impression the pics give. Advice re the sump plug and exhaust noted too - thank you FFG.
If I concur with some of you fellow black Griff owners that blacke ones are indeed fastest - hopefully the rest of you won't hold it against me
Roof down weather indeed. Hope to start a thread soon on the progress, detailing and mods etcs. Thank you again.

Storm, is she an HC ( she should be on that year ) and is your chassis painted Silver in color or the pearl white powder coat ? I've had my 98 one up on the ramp for a couple of days touching up a few chassis rust spots.
Yep, she is an HC with the silver chasssis. How bad is your rust - just surface and what have you used to treat it?Gassing Station | Griffith | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
