Same dealer I was referring to.
Wish I could be that trusting!!

There was a guy in Brighton a couple of months back who would find a nice bike in the classifieds and not return after a test drive. He repeated this the following week, leaving last weeks stolen ride with his next victim... Repeated local press coverage eventally put a stop to it after 7 or 8 weeks.

With regards to the Griff, I would never risk another person driving it. I tense up just lending it to my dad, and he's a named driver!

When I sold my Chim I wouldn't let one guy drive it as he told me he had bought one 12 weeks ago, wrote it off at high speed 6 weeks later and was no looking at a faster one - Bit if a pratt methinks.

I once went to look at an Evo VI at an import centre, the owner took me out in it, showed me how easy it was to drive it sideways, almost lost it on a junction whilst on the phone and then slid round a roundabout full of standing traffic and almost into the back of a Police Fester - Absolute fruitcake who then drove back to the garage, threw me the keys and said 'if you bend it, you buy it'

Didn't bend it or buy it but it was a fun afternoon I have to say!!

I think I'd have thrown him the keys back and told him "having seen you way you treat it I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole".
