The way those wires are sitting is doing in my 'OCD' ! I think they would be less stressed if you disconnected each one, turned it through 180 degrees and then re-connected them. Would they lie a bit better ?? ( but the fuel hose may be in the way ?). Thus preventing a possible stress induced wire break in the future.All in my own opinion of course.

I'll look at the tear down photos before I do anythings to see how they were when the PO dismantled the car.
Maybe easier to replace the lucar connectors with straight ones the originals do look grotty

Found the photos and originally the pump was mounted with the terminals at 12 and 6 o'clock. Wires were not on unfortunately but I understand the loom would have been zip tied to the chassis behind the pump with the connectors facing out as mine are. My loom is not tied to anything at the moment, I'll arrange it so as it looks tidy.
