We all know the Griff is a classic so let the Griff guys go camp on the Classic forum instead....
Why not restore it from the backup? Losing one days messages is not not going to cause a heartache as most of today has been us users complaining about the merge.
Tis better to loose a few messages and earn eternal gratitude etc etc.
JonRB said: Oh come on guys, it was the only logical thing to do.I for one applaud the merger.
We are talking TVRs. since when does logic come into it. If we are logical about TVR's we would be driving 4 wheel drive JAP turbo nutter Banzai machines... but we do the illogical thing and drive in a car with a big V8....

There's your answer then!
A vote might have been nice. What about democracy? I'll say no more about it but I think it's clear that the decision is unpopular (to the extent of posting about it) by about 10:1.
No justice even on PH, pah. What's the world coming to?

RichB said: Oh no, us Griff owners are going to have to trawl through pages of "where do I get smoked grey rear lights from?" and "can I fit a stainless front grill mesh?" type threads when all we want to read about is how to make our cars go faster! Rich...
And don't forget the '50% discount sale at American Golf' threads
And when they say 'she's a lovely driver' they mean the new club they picked up yesterdy...

What's that bad in a merger? If your Griff goes (.)(.) up it will almost certainly have gone wrong in a Chimp, they outnumber us by 3 or 4 to 1. Assuming they have the bigger engines of course
But I do differ on the styling and ethos. It was likened to Spitfires and Hurricanes. The Hurricanes where much more common, certainly got the job done but the Spit ........ ahhhh.
And no comments about the Hurricane having a bigger boot please - who plays golf @ 20,000 ft

PetrolTed said: Ok. It's back. I can't fully restore for typically IT reasons but I'll do what I can.
Democracy? I never said this place was a democracy...
A 22 min walk - see- that's all it took- obviously time to take a short break from the v6 ?!?!
