Cheers Paul, good work.
Just ordered mine...though was more expensive than Seasider's....must find out where he goes for discount training
Will fit and see what difference it makes...mine certainly does not stop hot water coming through - may slow it but stop? NO.
Anyone know what the dash switches are from for the up/down control and outside air/recirculate? Mine just spin round without stopping

Virgil.
I think mine was about £16 inc post and packing so could also do with Seasider's training too. My up and down control also spins round without stopping so if you find the part number let me know

It was the correct one so dont know why the £ difference
On my old one you could blow thru but i think the main problem could have been that the mounting plate did'nt let the locking screw on the flatted shaft line up properly
I cant see how it would've ever been 100% closed. Only noticed this when all re assembled and tried blowing when closed. Have adjusted the plate
and made a new hole in the valve base about 10mm from the old position (yes it was in the correct position Shawn
)...
Will try tomorrow as cant this evening

Just thought I'd add something that may be useful to others.
The small potentiometers that are the feedback for the various heating and ventilation valves available from Maplins as part number UH03D at £0.31 each.#
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=6499&...
Full spec sheet for the components here which suprisingly show the exact part fitted to the Griff (well, to mine anyway).

After laying in the footwell for the best part of the day I think I'll give it a miss thanks!
All my 4 spinny shiny knobs now work. Might change the HCV just to make them more effective![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
What are the pots like to change? My HCV occasionally throws a spas fit and just keeps rotating All my 4 spinny shiny knobs now work. Might change the HCV just to make them more effective

I've tried looking at it... Quite sternly at times, but it still refuses to fix itself ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
I have even posted in General Gassing about it![yikes](/inc/images/yikes.gif)
