Mine almost does allegedly... haven't had the heart to find out tho... thought six and a half was intense enough. Its strange really because i am expecting to change at around 5600 but it just keeps going

If yours was the same as mine was rev limiter only cuts in just over 6500rpm Eric.. (twas the std 4.3 chip as marked) mmmmm bloody limiters just when I'm having fun
You realize you can install a TW and use an ECU to to fuel & mapped ign via the coil dizzy Eric ~ I know you want to keep it looking original

Why would I - the main reason I updated the engine management on the Saab was to get rid of that dizzy. TBH my feeling is to leave well enough alone - it's just so driveable and tractable with the standard stuff (TVR Power eprom upgrade being the only 'mod' on that side) it's sort of unreal. Thought it was LT side of coil... Nope.. New cap, rotor arm... Nope.. Checked all the st in the footwell... Nope..
Bloody loose cap bolt on the plenum !!! & the thread was fked so needed coiling was a little slippy when i went out to check properly but think its sorted
