After a very pleasant 400 mile round trip this weekend (roof of at all times, natch) the car is running just fine... but still a few degrees higher than I'd like. Added a bottle of water wetter but didnt appear to have any effect. Has anyone else tried ww ?

I put a mod-wise two stage cooling kit on mine (Chim 500), it really does the trick. Never goes above 90 now, and reads 80-85 when on the motorway.

Have a leak in my rad too

I used all water in expansion tank plus half of water in the swirl pot in a 1 1/2 hour drive last week. Lifted bonnet and started car on saturday, when engine hot steam was coming from the rad through the fan area. Am taking it in this week to RT in Sheffield, they do uprated rads, anyone know / recommend any of them?
