My advice would be to give it a go. You have to try these things after all. I regret selling mine. It was reliable, cheap to run (if a bit thirsty) and most important of a fantastic driving experience.

Always liked the newer style Elise,looks best in black too!

Looks a lot tidier now I have a new windscreen (notice the delamination in the bottom right corner on the pic). Still saving for a front end respray.......
