Front indicator repeaters

Can you buy clear repeaters in the round style or do I have to convert to the later type? Any idea what the late type are off and do I have to modify the wings to fit? Thanks for any help, John.

John, you can get them clear.

I got some for mine. I think they are Land Rover parts and there's a place in Staffordshire that sells them 2nd hand. I think they must be Land Rover breakers or something.

Somebody will be along shortly to fill in the details and part number you require...

The front side repeaters were bought from halfords. From memory, they are regular oval clear lenses (Ford Fiesta ?) which came with orange bulbs. Just carefully removed the old orange ones and replaced them with these.

Then I did the fronts.

Look, I'm off to work in a minute - there is a thread somewhere with loads of info about this easy conversion.

When I get to work, I'll have a root and find that thread for you..

Thanks again for the help, I have some clear lenses for the front but the car is being painted before I put it back together, John.
