Griff exhaust change
Discussion
Hi all,
I've had my 4.0L griff for 18 months now and still enjoying it. The previous owner fitted a sports exhaust that is virtually straight through, has one small silencer midway. The car sounds awesome (it's a pre-cat), but I've decided after much weighing up that I'm going to sacrifice a little aural thrill for a slightly quieter exhaust. So, two questions;
1. Would anyone be interested in buying my current exhaust?
2. What do people recommend as a good compromise exhaust for a pre-cat engine?
Of course, if anyone has something to swap then let me know. I'm in Bedfordshire if anyone is intersted and wanted to hear it.
Cheers,
Pat

Thanks for the offer Jeoba, I may PM you at some point, however I've been thinking today that it seems a shame to get ride of the nice stainless sports exhaust that I have and maybe I'll look at getting it modified to include more of a silencer.
Anyone know of any good exhaust fabricators with RV8 TVR experience?

Why not try track day inserts?
If you are near Essex/Suffolk border (I'm on a mobile and the member register doesn't come up) you can try my set.
Hi Dave, that may be a good solution - I have family in cambs/suffolk/essex borders area so may well be your direction soon. Do you have any pics of them fitted? I've seen bolt on silencers at trackdays but they stuck out a fair way and I wouldnt want them on permanently.
