Does anyone know where I can get a new bonnet prop? I know Steve Heath used to do an alternative design a few years ago but he's disappeared off the face of the earth. I can't even find a standard one anywhere.

Cheers. I'd looked on the Leven website and scrolled through all the bits listed for a Griff but it doesn't show up?

Anyway, I'll give them a bell in the morning and see if they have any. I know it's expensive but seems to be the only option!

Ordered from Leven. Arrived. Fitted. Yes I know they're expensive but it's a nice design and it works well. It doesn't bend my bonnet as per other poster either.

It's different from the standard one in that the prop part is hinged from one end of the bar that runs between the bonnet rollers and it clips to this bar when not in use. It therefore doesn't run over the top of the engine when not in use. The problem I was having was that the prop was fouling on the coolant swirl pot and the AFM when the bonnet was down. This is now solved so I'm happy.
