If I'm not very much mistaken the last 100 Griffiths were designated 'Special Edition' and say so on the rear badge.

So why the heck does everyone - including the people who bought them - seem to insist on calling them 'LE' (for 'Limited Edition')? Makes it sound like a badged-up Ford Escort!

Talking about those fine gentlemen, t'other day I spotted a mobile tri-pod camera as I turned into a road and proceeded past at between 10 - 15 mph much to the coppers disbelief.

(At risk of hijacking my own thread) I not only do this but put the hazards on. I have also been known to - umm - make my views known to the Plod on duty. I saw him beckon in a headmasterly fashion at me in the rear view mirror and thought - bollox, I've broken no laws, I'm not going back for 100 lines and detention...'
