anybody know much about these engines in terms of reliability and drivability on road. I know a man who has one for sale and has done 2 meetings in it, and he assures me that its a very easy to drive and not too cammy....but he would say this as he's trying to sell it. Hopefully someone out here might be able to shed some light on it?

its not an everyday car, but more of a weekend toy. I dont fancy the idea of it revving the nuts of itself all the time. He seemed to think it would be perfect for the road, not to cammy and plent of go and the fact that you would have 140ish horses on tap made it very appealing. Then what about emmissions(another can of worms)? Surely as you said would changing the final drive not calm down the reving of it?
