what cam

hi im rebuilding a 1275 mg engine for my son he has said he wants it tuned abit we was thinking of a uprated cam but i dont know anything about them
what would you recomend he wants it fast but it must be reliable

thing we will be going for the head ported and a set of 1.5 rockers and use the standard cam thanks
