Hi guys, just trying to fathom out voodoo talk in the blue book.

11.3 Chassis
Manufacturers original chassis structure and specification of construction, dimensions and material.

Does this mean I cannot lighten my subframe by drilling holes in it?

That is exactly how it appears in the book, thats why I am confused... It will be the "Manufacturers original" subframe, but it will be modded...?

Im only after drilling holes in the subby though...? I wont be fastening the cage to anything apart from the floors

Cheers Dan. The thing about this particular class is that you cant run plastic windows, but you can run fibreglass bonnet and bootlid. They are the only panels that can be changed. Other than that everything apart from wheels has to be as it left the factory on the body
