Bit of a cheek here, I used to own a Rover Cooper (but now have a MG Midget) as my everyday car

I'm thinking of fitting a new (Mini) heater valve - do they leak?

The new MG (bath tap, lift the bonnet to adjust) heater valve I've just fitted leaks and I'm told this type all do so I was thinking of changing to a Mini type and have a cable to the cabin where the wife and I can constantly change what the other has just set the heater to

Late one's, right thanks, I saw there were different types

I need to see them as I need to allow for any differences with the Midget engine layout to Mini

Does this mean the earlier type (which I may need) are prone to leak?

Thanks, Nigel

For some reason I can't get the alternative photos of the Mini type to show

And I cant find a photo of the MG (bath tap) valve at the moment

I now see the Mini in-line type will not be a good solution

ETA: ok the photo link didn't work so it's down to part number = 13H 5506

Thanks for the info

I think it's probably the new parts that are worse
