Disco 4 and Kids
Discussion
Interested to hear from anyone with a Discovery 4 with more than one child.
I'm considering a change of vehicle in the next 9-12 months and have twins, Looking at the Disco 4, you can only fit isofix seats on the outside 2 seats in the middle row, leaving the middle seat un-usable as 1) There's not enough space to sit between the child seats and 2) The isofix support leg blocks it.
Changing to non-isofix car seat's isn't an option because I bought Isofix for the safety advances (may of been had by a salesman here?) ... either way, with over £400 sunk on child seats, not blowing anymore cash on them!
Anyone got suggestions or similar experiences? I'd want to be carrying the kids and 2 Adults most of the time, Not including myself as the driver.

Yes, as above you can sit an adult between two kiddy seats in row 2 but it's a little tight. Our two children are in forward facing isofix seats and sometimes we shift one across to the middle (just using the belt and retracting the isofix prongs) so the adult sits to one side making it easier to get in and out
You can fit 3 kiddy seats across row 2 as well although they're tight up against each other (the ones we've used anyway)
If we have more people in the car we sometimes shift the kiddy sits into row 3, no isofix but they think it's great fun being in the back
If you're 6-up then putting 2 people at the back and folding and lowering the middle seat in row 2 gives a nice open feeling to the back of the car too

We've got a D4 with two children. Variously we've had 2 isofixes, 1 isofix / 1 booster and now 2 boosters. Plus we've had Grandma sitting next to the booster seat (1 booster next to the passenger side, 1 booster in the middle). As noted, it's not ideal and makes hunting for the belt buckle a challenge, but it's very possible.
We've got a Disco 3 and 4 kids. We have always had 3 childseats up in row 2, admittedly only one of them has been isofix but I haven't found another car with the same width. The XC90 and the Audi only have small middle seats but I think the SMax, Galaxy and Sharan have isofix on all three row 2 seats which may also share out the width a bit more fairly between them?
