Check recent case law on this - VW transporter is now a car, rather than a van.

I think my Vito is OK being that it is the long version; payload of over 1 tonne and load area bigger than seats area.

HMRCs website is typically helpful, with a list of vehicles that hasn’t been updated since 2015.

There was a previous thread on here and on the T5 Forum about this.
Some appear willing to chance it but I'm not one of them.
Check out the figures and see what your additional tax liability will be. Now assume its two or three years down the line that you get an HMRC investigation.
A £10k, £20k or £30k retrospective tax bill could make for a very bad day.
I know a few contractors who have had tax investigations, don't think it won't happen to you.
As with anything HMRC, the best way is by the book.
