Hi Mosi,

The turnover is around £500k, too small for the 'big boys' I think. Would sought small specialist, anyone dealt with Knightsbridge or RTA ?

MP
Ok, have a look at this lot then : http://www.avondale-group.co.uk/

They dont have a bad rep, and you would be in their area.

That sounds very unprofessional I will body swerve the KN group.
Anyone dealt with RTA, and is it the norm to pay up front rather than on completion?

MP
I dealt with RTA to buy mine earlier this year. Take a bit of chasing, sometimes miscommunicated important stuff when negotiating. We had the vendor throw his toys out of the pram over something they completely fabricated. I'm confident it was a misunderstanding though... they seem to be a call centre based sales operation rather than an agency so are bound to miscommunicate the odd thing.

Just watch what's being said, and keep an open line of communication between vendor and purchasers. We basically put the deal together, updated the solicitors and then told the agents what had happened. It went fine after that.

Our solicitor on the other hand ranting

Nope, I already had the Murci. I did buy my F430 as a treat to Myself though. We are in Bucks. I sold because it was the right stage to do it in order to move the business forward to the next level (and to de-risk myself to a degree)

FAO Patricks Dad,

Hi, Patrick,

I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I am looking to purchase a new business. I sold my retail business some 4years ago and are now looking for a new venture.

What type of business are you looking to sell on?

Please email if you don’t wish to post on here,

Thanks
Jas
