Anyone else have problems siging up to Bluesquare? It won't accept any of my phone numbers as being valid!
Nope - signed up 20 min ago.

accepted my mobile no problem
I reloaded the page and it accepted my phone number, it wouldn't acknowledge my post code though. Atleast I could just manually input my address. Anyway, All done now smile
Yeah I had to enter my address manually as the postcode wouldn't work.

Also can't get automatcher to work either.

Looks like i'm having to do all the hard work myself tonight.

It quite often doesn't work for me too, I fall back on oddsmonkey, or try again later.

ETA:
I said i was slowing down but i have reached my new record of 7 current bets on Betfair. I blame Stan james.

I have experimented with a little side bet after a match has gone into play though. It was football, half time score was 2-1 and BF were offering 8.8 against 3-2 at full time.

All good fun!
Hey, there's nowt wrong with experimentation using some of your profits smile

You'll notice patterns and want to try them out naturally. Have you seen the 'cash out' option when a game you've bet on/against at BF is on?

I've tried something (small, on the side, out of profits) out of a regular price movement I've seen. Low risk (as opposed to risk free) with a nice quick return of 25%+.

Doing matched betting will enable those of us who want to, to find such patterns and opportunities, and be able to profit from them once the offers get thinner on the ground.

I've seen that. It usually shows a net loss against the cash out though. I'm guessing the net loss is against the potential winnings, not against your original stake?

I haven't noticed the cash out option, will have a look later though. Have you seen opportunities to cash out at a profit?

Say, for example, you BACK a market well before the game starts, at 10:10.2

If, by the time the game starts, or shortly into it, the odds have moved DOWN to say 7.0:7.2, you'll see a green profit amount (which grows as the odds shorten) If you 'cash out' you get your stake out plus most of the profit. A small element of profit is kept in, so you still do marginally better if your original back bet wins.

It's quite good smile

It's not a risk free strategy. In fact this is trading. I've done this a couple of times well away from my matched bets.

Well, i now have 8 opportunities to look out for it today.

Here's hoping that a couple of my SJ bets (£30 quali's) win on the bookie side...

Another Oops..but it has cost me bugger all.

Apparently i was supposed to sign up for a special thing in order to qualify for the expekt bonus.

So, i deposited and bet £100 without being signed up properly. They are going to see if they can just give me it anyway. Otherwise it is too late and i have 'done' expekt and missed out on £50 frown

Ah well, onwards and upwards hehe

ETA: that was quick, they just emailed me and told me they have given the £50 anyway smile

I decided to 'risk' that free £50 without laying it off, but then i bottled it..

It worked out in my favour as i backed at 3.8 and ended up laying off at 3.4 but immediately after that it dropped to 1.7 frown

I should have let it ride..

Trouble is, if you start thinking like that, it soon becomes a far from risk free endeavour. You got a good arb, be thankful smile It could just have easily gone the other way wink

Right, that's Stan done smile Just waiting for the final free £50 tomorrow.

Paddy still to complete the last 5x50 for £50, might do that through the footie tomorrow too.

888 appears to be up again too. Only managed to do my third tenner (out of ten) on that today (4 x £10 for £10)

It matched 3.10 so I stupidly thought I'd placed it wrong so put the other 27.00 which I meant to put on. It makes a liability of about 390.
