Yep correct smile

It's such a good offer it's worth sacrificing a perfect odds match - and with the longer odds you'll need for £400 lay liability, you can have a bigger gap between back & lay odds.

Something like 9.8 : 10.2 would be perfect.

OK, I am still feeling my way around...

Looking at matcher.xls and using the mallorca game ( 1-0 to Granada) it would appear i need to lay at £51.21 and back at £50 in order to be guaranteed a £49 return on my £50 free bet. Plus I also get the 25% of BF liability back.

If i win the Lay at BF though, i should collect £460 ish, plus my 25% liability or have i got that bit totally wrong???

Can you confirm this before i hit the buttons? smile

Best I can find atm for your free bet is still on that Granada v Mallorca game on Sunday, but this time correct score 0-0. Not enough liquidity yet at BF though.

Anyway, at the mo it's lads back 9.0 BF lay 9.0
Returns 85% = £42.47
Lay stake £44.69 Liability £357.52, so mobile bonus = £89.38.

There are other similar results for Sat's English footy. Use the filter on oddsmonkey to select just football, Lads, Betfair and you've 6 pages+ of matches.

Edit: sorry I was typing this (slowly) as you were typing yours. I'll have a look at yr query now

Firstly, there's no hurry as the game is not til Sunday smile

If you used Matcherxls, remembering to put £50 in the stake forfeit box, it would suggest for a matched return of £42.90 (85.8%) you need a BF stake of £45.16, which is a liability of £307.09

25% mobile bonus = £76.77

Edit. Seeing as there is plenty liquidity at BF, and this is a good result, then yes I would do this smile

Back correct score granada 1-0, lads, 8.0 £50
Lay correct score granada 1-0, BF, 7.8 £45.16

You need £307.09 in betfair account and to use your mobile wink

Ah, yes that bit in bold...i missed that hehe

That is fairly important...

Don't worry i won't be rushing into anything, and yes i could afford to lose this 'investment' if the worst happened smile

Go for it :P

For any watchers, could I just clarify something. Once your bets have been accepted and matched, your odds are fixed smile So if you get a good odds match with sufficient BF liquidity early, like with this one, go for it!

As well as oddsmonkey, there is also oddsmatcher which can be found at bet72.com. This is built for matched betting offers and is very good and easy to use (it even calculates for you). But it is only for football matches in the next 72hrs, so that nice match for Sunday isn't on it yet.

Welcome Martin. Hope you got a good referrer for Betfair wink

ETA Premiership footy back on Sat, loads of opportunities there. My missus is out Fri night, so I'll be around and hopefully placing some free bets myself.

All done, but you can't put pennies into the mobile software by the look of it so i had to just enter £45 exactly.

Still, all good smile

cool

I'm sure you can enter pennies. I can on the droid and iphone apps? Anyway -16p won't make any difference really. You've effectively slightly underlayed to give a marginally better return on a bookie side win compared to lay side win.

This is a tactic in itself worth reading about on mse, but you don't need to worry about it just yet smile

Yeah, I think I did alright out of that one, £15 cashback from thebettingwarehouse, £25 free bet, and £20 from referer so £60 smile

Looking at something I can do with a £200 betfair float now to kick things off. The Ultimatcher3.08 spreadsheet is pretty awesome!

Nice one although I do offer similar smile That £25 free bet element of the BF bonus will (if you enterred a referral code when you registered) actually be a £25 cash credit applied to your account within 48hrs of staking £25 yourself.

Looks like you've done a bit of homework which can't be encouraged enough!

IMO look at skybet £10SNR no quali reqd (don't do the cashback offer as that requires £50 stake and still only £10 free bet), Totesport £10SNR for £10 (consider the cashback offer though - b.warehouse does pay out really fast)

Good, easy, first ones to have a go with.

Yeah, I quickly realised that you HAVE TO research EVERYTHING you sign up for. I missed out on a referal bonus for signing up to thebettingwarehouse - only £2.50 + £2.50 for referer, but thats free money! - cashback for the cashback site - gotta love it!

One thing I'm still concerned about it the withdrawing bit once you have 'winnings' (if it works out that way) in a particular bookie. I think I need to research that bit some more as the WR bit seems confusing. I also don't want to get gubbed so sticking to EPL <£200 bets seems sensible to start.

I'm definitely interested in the underlaying concept also - seems to make sense since money in Betfair is less hassle to extract with no WR. I'm sure I will find myself regularly hoping the lay wins for simplicity, so offsetting that on the bet side makes sense. not sure how you calculate the underlay amount though and might just leave it until I'm in the swing of it some more.

Man - I better not start adding up the hours I've spent figuring all this out or it will scare me! lol

Wagering Requirements (WR) won't be an issue just yet if you select your first offers carefully. I haven't done one yet: my float should be up to £1000 before I do one. But by the time you do come across them you'll be adept at finding good quali matches for low loss each time. So you keep doing these until you either bust out or complete the wr.

I've just started the Paddy £200 atm. My first £50SNR and £50 quali both won last night so I had £500 in there and £130 in BF. I've only had to make 3 bookie side withdrawals so far and 2 out of 3 arrived in my account 2 working days later. The other needed a driving licence scan so took 2 days longer.

Qualis early in the week will always mean a nice BF float is there for the free bets on Saturday.

Cheers Richard, just 'wet my feet' with the skybet offer - hopefully I didn't 5crew up!

£10 free bet on QPR to win vs Stoke on Sat 15:00 @ 4/1 (5)
£7.77 layed on QPR to win @ 5.2

Pretty sure that's ok and should net me £7.38

I promise I'm not associated with BF hehe, but they really are giving their marketing budget a pounding atm

New recruits: check your prize mountain: cash bonuses based on points earned between 14/11 and 11/12. You should easily be able to get to £115 cash bonus by then smile (If not, then def. £30) No extra betting necessary, just carry on as normal.

Find it on Sports homepage: panel at right: promotions: prize mountain.
