I have recently bought as laser printer and also a PDA off ebay. Both items were brand new. They will be used ligitimately for business. As these were off private sellers there are no official reciepts but I have paypal receipts which show payment recieved and the type/name of the purchased goods.

Can these be run through as a company expenses??

Obviously, having original and legally complete and correct invoices is the best proof for both tax and accounts/audit purposes but the Revenue will accept other forms of evidence of purchase and ownership if an original invoice doesn't exist.

VAT is different. If you wish to be able to reclaim the Input VAT on the purchase, then a VAT compliant original invoice is the ONLY proof allowable.
