So, picked up my 7 yesterday. Spent the evening setting up, and all is now good.
What apps do I need to show off my phones capabilities then?
Find my Friends is ace if you're a stalker.
No - I think you need to get a set of those stoopid-looking Bluetooth earbuds to demonstrate to lesser mortals your latest Appleness......
Except they don't, as such, exist yet...
although as much as I dislike the 7, bluetooth earphones are actually really good.

plantronic backbeat fit are great smile
I meant specifically the Apple wireless things which were debuted with the iPhone 7 but haven't, as yet, been made available for sale.

Has anyone else noticed high battery usage on iOS10.2?

It has only been today, so could be something else.

Will they be delivered by Christmas? I thought they were still having synchronisation issues.

Does anyone still use iTunes/their iPhone to store the music collection?
At present, I can't really justify a 128GB iPod Touch...

I prefer to have my music backed up somewhere, rather than stream it.

4 week delivery now. Was it always that or have they pushed it back from when they were first released?

Isn't the design with their hard resin casing fundamentally a bit st?

Both me and my wife do, about 40GB each. Although we've moved to Apple Music now, so it isn't going up as quickly as it did before.

I've got 32gb of music on phone yes

The problem with using cloud is how on earth do I listen to any music when I don't have either network or wifi access?

It doesn't work, and I fly and travel around a huge amount not always connected to the world.

You can download to your device from Apple Music.

I agree. My "normal" Apple earphones constantly fall out and aren't very comfortable. I only use them for calls when working. So "out and about", wireless earphones of the same design wouldn't last a day I don't think.

Must depend a lot on your ears. My normal Apple earphones are very comfortable and while not out of this world they sound better than previous earphones I've had. A critical requirement for me is that they're relatively sweat-proof, and the Apple ones are. My main problem with the normal earphones is that the cable breaks near or at the jack (I use them a lot), and so I buy at least one pair/year @ £25. Might be getting some of the wireless ones for Christmas (currently living with a dodgy jack), we will see...

One thing Apple do consistently extremely well is st strain relief on all their cables.

I suspect they make more profit from cables than any of their devices....
