Have to say, having only got the 6 this morning from where it was delivered to, it seems massive to me! So much bigger than my 5!
like the extra amount of screen though so I hope I get used to it!
The 6+ must be hilariously big!
Your right, the 6+ is ridiculous, it's way to big to use comfortably, hold it like your iPhone 4/5 and it simply flops out of your hand it's so top heavy. like the extra amount of screen though so I hope I get used to it!

It's just making a bigger phone for the sake of it,horrible to use.
The 6 is much nicer, it's still big.
the protruding camera lens? An afterthought, can't lay it flat on a desk, I'll be getting a 5s next that will give Apple time to come up with something else.
However the quality is still there, it's a well made device.

Had to buy a new cradle for he car as the standard 6 would not fit into the old one.
Discovered that the cradle is stable enough to use the phones camera out the windscreen.... Timelapse video now has a use
Very cool and geeky watching my 10min drive home played in super clear fast forward
Which cradle have you gone for? Wouldn't mind one for my car!Discovered that the cradle is stable enough to use the phones camera out the windscreen.... Timelapse video now has a use

Not cheap but seem pretty good. Modular too.
Thanks for the link, reserved a 6 which I'll pick up later.
Now can I ask for advice for SIM only package, I'm a complete noob who lived with a work Blackberry for the past decade.
Seems to me the best deal is Giff Gaff's £12 package with 250 UK minutes + unlimited data&SMS.
International call/SMS/data rates also seem very low.
Is there anything that beats that?

I just got halfords own brand 'PDA holder. Currently £9 and as my car has a gloss bit of dash I don't have to put it on the window. It's got a flexible bar between suction cup and holder so can position the phone anywhere.
Just went to pick one up. There was a very slow moving queue of approx 30 people, but the queue for people with reservations was empty! So make a reservation! People in that queue should have got on their phones and made a reservation and gone to the other queue!
I also walked straight into the O2 store to get a SIM, and was out in a couple of minutes.
Cardiff seemed to be well stocked with iPhones too. Just goes to show how pointless queuing on release day is.

Will there be much movement on 5 prices now the 6 is out?
My old 4 is starting to get pretty slow and the broken screen ain't helping either.
Not really fussed about paying a wad for a 6, especially if it's bigger.
A cheaper 5 would do just fine but I'd rather not do it now if the prices will drop in a month.

Popped into the Apple shop today, they;d got a fair bit of stock available.
However I wasn't too impressed with the 6 or 6+
6+ was huge far too big to be a phone.
6 was an OK size about as big as I'd like to go, screen was pretty however it all felt a bit plasticky.
Was pretty disappointed to be honest.

Right then, phone collected. O2 had crap cases, what's best, bar the apple case? Or should I stop being tight?
My 5S lives in a Spigen case + I fitted their Nano GLAS.tR all singing all dancing screen protector. It all cost about £40 in total, but very good quality and well worth it (IMO).

That's the one. Actually pretty well made for £9 and holds the phone well. The holder rotates too if you need the phone in landscape mode. Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
