China out as far as I can tell. Presumably carrier devices now need to wait for the carrier to do their tests etc?

Looks like we should get it soon, if you haven't already

Unless that is US market only?

Just ordered the Mate 20 Pro X on a total whim this morning from John Lewis. 7.2" screen. Only £699.

Damn you, Hot UK Deals....

I've just "requested" an update through the HiCare app and it's showing at being "up to date" with 8.1 frown

I've got a mate 10 pro C782 and the update hasn't even appeared on firmware finder yet, so it can't have been pushed out from 28th December. It'll appear on firmware finder before it gets pushed as an OTA update. Unsure on the P20 though, download FF and have a look.

I'm guessing Firmware Finder, judging by the rest of his post.

I said Firmware Finder twice, before putting FF, assumed it'd be obvious.

Ahh, sorry - I've had about 3 hours sleep and my brain is fried...

ETA - I've installed it and it's showing there for the P20 Pro as version 9.0.0.168

Nothing OTA yet though.

I'm an Apple user.....with an aging 6s. Have been tempted by these, but was wondering what the after care is like?

Apple tend to be pretty good the few times I've had to use them.

I had an early generation Samsung device (s3 I think) and the after care was shocking by comparison - but appreciate that things have moved on in the years since....

That might be with your provider - I have an O2 business account and I know that with any failure, I'd get a next day replacement...

There is that - The only phone I ever had problems with was my HTC One M8 where I got a LOT of dust ingres to the front lens. I think I had 4 replacements for that one...

Other than that, never had any problems anyway.

Unless you count my old, old Palm Pre - Which was many levels of bad...
