Did you resolve this? You haven't got Do Not Disturb enabled have you? My daughter did that and didn't realise...

Nope not resolved.

Have literally in the last half an hour reset all settings to start again with it and see how it goes.

And no - still not working on all apps despite having battery & launch set to allow it to run in the background etc.

The App that's a particular issue is my Blink cctv which doesn't give any notifications at all.

Uninstalled and reinstalled again. All fine.

No idea what the issue was but now I need to try it with the other apps causing an issue

Did you migrate the app? I had Skype installed from my P20 migration and got no notifications from it - I uninstalled it and installed it from the Play Store and all the notifications started working.

Ah, that might be your problem - Check the app details and then just reinstall it if it's not working.

I went with quad lock. Case is a bit chunky but worth it for ease of use

P30 Pro New Edition released today, ordered mine, comes in Frost Silver only and now 256GB instead if 128GB and a free Huawei Watch GT2e as well.
It's an upgrade from my P20 Pro which has served me well, just like my P9+ before. Both my wife and my sister switched to the P20 Pro having seen mine and the P9+ is still going strong in the hands of my daughter!

Where have you ordered from?

My wife is due to upgrade and my old Huawei watch could do with being replaced but she's very keen to stay with EE and they don't seem to be onboard with the New Edition for some reason.

I got a decent deal with Vodafone (yep, I know but never had any customer service problems in the 21 years I've been with them....).

I think you can also get the same deal buying direct from Huawei uk iirc.

I'll keep an eye out, my wife has the p30 pro and my old mate 9 has seen better days, the new p30 pro looks like it might be a contender (especially as I can't see Huawei getting google services anytime soon)

My P20 Pro can be upgraded for free in 2 weeks it seems. Buggar all out there I want, if the P40 had google services id have it on order now... But I think im going to go for a Note 10 Lite, as I fancy a note device, but do not fancy paying £70/80 a month for the full fat Note. This seems a good balance between stuff I don't care about (plastic back, no s pen gestures, no 48mp camera) and things I do (bigger deivce for reading, always fancied playing with the S-pen etc

Doesn't look like I'll save much money though, same cost to just upgrade, or I can flounce, and move to o2/start a new EE contract and save £6 a month...

Will be nice having another handset, I've used my P20 for filming for my youtube channel since I got it, and I'll carry on using it as just a camera, especially as it seems to be worth 37p as a trade in, be more handy to keep around for the kids to use/as a camera etc.

Phones seem very boring nowadays. Either a full fat flagship, something with compromises or Appl. SOmetimes I think being an iphone fan would be much easier, but I'm a google guy.

Just ordered the P30 pro NE direct from Huawei today, Clove didn't seem to want to respond to my queries, oh well, their loss of a sale.

As far as 'New Edition' goes, the only thing new about it is the colour, and the fact it will get supported for a bit longer than the regular one. I did a bit of soul searching as to whether or not the extra £100 over the 'old one' was worth it, but then the 8GB vs 6GB of RAM and 256 vs 128 GB of storage made it seem about comparable.

Plus the fact, currently the new one has the offer of a free GT2e smart watch, which I can likely sell on for £100 means it's a bit of a no brainer.

Ok it's not quite the latest and greatest, but it's the last one likely to have Google Services for the foreseeable future and it's about 2x as fast as my Mate 9 which still seems to work fast enough.

I buy my phones outright, so I don't have to worry about a 24 month contract either.

I was leaning towards the S10 5G but the contract price went back up, that long with recently getting a Huawei D15 laptop made going for the P30 Pro a bit more of a no brainer.

Managed to get it for £43pm unlimited everything with Three and hopefully should arrive tomorrow! I’ll be moving from an iPhone 8 Plus, is it worth using the Phone Clone to move over or start afresh? The majority of my photos are in iCloud anyway.

The P30 Pro still seems to hold its own against the latest flagships, last 4 phones have been iPhones but I’m fancying a change and it will be nice to save almost £20 per month!

I've never used a propriety 'move your stuff over from phone A to Phone B' before, and done it manually so I don't know how good/bad it is. Perhaps I should give it a go this time round.

Regarding it holding its own, manufacturers have this annoying habit of incremental minuscule changes yr on yr, this is why I waited best part of 4 years before upgrading from the mate 9 so the changes are at least tangible. in my case, wireless charging, better camera, in screen fingerprint sensor, waterproofing, plus the additional speed/storage.

I couldn't justify (or afford) the 'lets change it each yr' mentality as I don't feel you see that much change in that time frame.

Phone clone works well, used it to set up my own phone, wife's phone and daughter's phone these were all android to android.

My sister used it to swap from her iPhone to her P20 Pro. It won't transfer over log in details to banking and the likes of Amazon etc for security but has transferred over all other info seamlessly for me.

Like a few people here i went p9-p20ro-p30pro N/E, i had the p40pro but sent it back as i could do without google but when ring door bell and hive heating etc dont work its pretty useless, the p30 is a great phone so far, im trying to negotiate with huawei about the free watch as i bought that watch 2 weeks ago.... what is next after this phone, well it wont be huawei again unless google is reinstated and i cant see trump allowing that. Maybe oppo or mi or one plus ???
