You can add another bridge. Other options (I think) are a Samsung Smart Things Hub or a DIY bridge based on a Raspberry Pi.
or Home Assistant

Last night I tried adding another automation to my system and it said my bridge was full! Deleted a few scenes and it saved it, but I'm guessing I'm at capacity for my bridge now? What do I do now? Does it require a second bridge being added into the system, or am I just at the limit of what a house can have?
I thought the 'limit' for one bridge was 50 lamps/accessories and nothing to do with scenes? How many do you have?

Anyhow this may be useful to you........

I bought three Lidl LED strip lights to integrate into my Hue setup and they partly work with Amazon Alexa. I added them to my ‘Mood lighting’ group and can control them using Hue, Alexa voice and also Alexa apps no problem. However only one of them can be controlled by Alexa individually when it comes to changing colour. I can turn them off and on no problem. They were all purchased on the same day so I’m stuck as to why only one can change colour using Alexa. Any ideas?

At a guess I would say it's because they are in a group and the change colour feature in alexa would require 3 separate instructions to the Hue Hub, 1 for each led strip, and is only giving 1 instruction. I would try taking them out of the group and set up a routine listing each led strip as a separate device within the routine. Alexa would then send 3 instructions to the hue hub.

Thanks. I first removed them from each group etc. but that didn’t work. I then deleted them from Alexa altogether and added them back in. I noticed that two of the lights had duplicates so I deleted them. I was able to control them individually using the Alexa app and also with voice. I subsequently added back into groups and created a custom group just for the Lidl lights. Everything seems to be working fine now. My only criticism is that the colours don’t always match up with Hue colours but for £15 a pop or whatever I paid, I can’t grumble.

Just seen review on whats coming on Amazon prime thread on lighting and one warning was mention that Lifx UK ltd arm of company has been shut down and that no warranty will be given and will be loads of cut down prices.

Always saw good reviews of their stuff online, though moot for me as it's all WiFi and I'm Zigbee/Philips Hue. There was an article recently saying the smart home device market has tanked due to the cost of living (though the article was in connection with Amazon/Google devices), wonder if that's hit Lifx UK hard and if Innr may also be at risk. Most their rivals just ship out of China or have a garage type distro over here.

Anyone else having issues with Alexa and Hue integration? Mine has suddenly stopped working, as if the skill isn't enabled. Then when you try to re-enable the skill and link accounts, it fails.

Was all working fine up until a day ago.

Mine is continuously forgetting and rediscovering my Hue motion sensors. Routines don't work unless you delete them and manually find them again. A right pain.

This happened to me some weeks ago. The cure was to unplug the hue hub and re-connect it. Alexa then re-discovered everything after a few hours.

Cheers. Will try that.

Hue app is working fine, it's just Alexa that appears to have lost her ability to connect to my Hue system.

I had this a couple of days ago, only noticed because I was adding some lights. Alexa said basically every bulb and other hue devices were unresponsive, and lighting commands wouldn’t work. However it seems to have sorted itself out now, so assume there was some issue either at Hue or Amazon’s end.

I’m planning to add a fair few of the Hue Milliskin spotlights to our extension.

We use Hue throughout the house including two sets of three Milliskin lights.

My plan is to add 12-15 of these lights ON A SINGLE CIRCUIT.

Is there a way of checking this would work, ahead of checking with my electrician?

Obviously some lights being dimmer than other - when all should be at full power - would be unacceptable.

These are the lights:

It's fine, I've got 15 hue spots on a circuit. Electrician installed - they separated the kitchen into two circuits as we have 27 spots in total.

Each one is 5.7W. You can run hundred of Watts from a standard 3A lighting circuit so I think you are OK as long as you keep it below 50 or so bulbs.

That’s reassuring, thank you.

And a big kitchen!

I knew there’d be a formula, just not what it would be.

Thank you very much smile

The circuit is likely 6A in total - most average sized houses run an upstairs circuit & a downstairs circuit. If you look in your consumer unit (fuse box) you should be able to tell.

I also have >25 hue bulbs on a single switch in my kitchen - and many more on the same circuit - all fine.

Has anyone found a cheaper than normal source for colour light strip? I need 10m.
