there is a section on their website where you can sign up and they will send you a free micro sim for the iphone 4.
The people who cut these sims are still only members of the giffgaff community (like myself). I was simply offering a direct route for PHers, along with being able to help people if they need/want it This is what i was talking about, i think u can order direct.

What this does is then sends your details to one of GiffGaff's approved SIM cutters (like myself), who then cut the SIM and send it out http://apps.giffgaff.com/microgaff/request.php#
I've been with them since last year, apart from the occasions where the network has gone down I haven't had any issues. Can't argue with there value for money and its nice not to worry about getting a bill at the end of the month. The unlimited texts is a good perk, no limit to go over, used to get caught out with O2 but on GG can happily send as many as I want.

I'm tempted to move to the £10 one with my iPhone 4 instead of getting a 5. Is it pain free to move from O2 contract to it? And if I want to move back to contract, is that easy? (Obv keeping my number).
I moved in March from o2 with my iPhone4. Got my PAC code from o2.Can't actually remember how I did it.
I cut down a normal sim card that GiffGaff sent out to me though.

There's cheaper out there, I think I get 200 mins 5000 text and 1gb of internet for £6.90 with Three.
Agreed. I'm currently on 300min/ 3000 text/ 1gb internet @ £10pm from Three, but got £100 cashback at the start so over the 12-month contract it's effectively £1.66 a month CraigMST said:

Was a bit surprised about the price of my £10 deal effectively going up 20%, but it's not going to break the bank. At least the price for going over 1GB in a month is only 2p/MB; that means a second gig will be an extra £20 but Tesco mobile charged me something like £7-8 a day (for not very much data in that period) when I exceeded my 1GB cap once.
