Bose noise cancelling headphones

With bluetooth you need to check which profile it is using, this important as the basic profile is mono audio and not stereo.

I have a pair of QC3 and also the Q20i.
I prefer the Q20i by far.

I've been using Etymotic in-ear noise isolation earphones for years. Small, portable, no batteries, more comfortable and eliminates every bit as much noise as the Quiet Comfort. When you take them off mid-flight you realise how deafening the plane is.

I managed to leave my pair of QC15s on an easyjet flight so had to buy a second pair. The Mrs then bought QC25s but decided she didn't like them so took my 15. So despite buying them twice now, I'm stuck with the qc25s. I actually don't mind them as an in ear model becaus I sleep on my side so when I get business class it's much better to sleep with them on.

Curious about the new ones though, wouldn't have thought wireless broadcasting would have been allowed on flights

I've had both types. The in ear 20i are obviously more portable, and probably just as good.

I have the Parrot Zik 2.0's which allows you to control the rate of active noise cancellation via its app. Utterly incredible to use on a plane.

I have the 20i, IMO far better that the over ear for travel as they are much more portable, and I tend to nod off on flights and the over-ear ones are not comfortable for that.

They're like some kind of voodoo magic, it's just a shame they cost so much really as everyone should be able to enjoy them. Don't know about the QC25s but the QC20i don't completely eradicate airplane noise, it just becomes much more of a background hum.

Don't have mine with me to check the model, but would not fly without them.

Prop planes do test the noise cancelling to extremes though.

I had been using over-ear QC15's for 5 years or so and found them very good, but the in-ear QC20i's blow them away from a cancelling perspective. Truly amazing.

I've got the AKG noise cancelling on ears and also QC20s, the QC20 are in my opinion better for travelling as they're easier to sleep on.

My wife has had the over ear Bose headphones for years - on her second set I believe. I travel business on Emirates and theirs are noise cancelling too - but I travelled last week economy, so got the cheapy headphones, and had forgotten how noisey the flight is.

I was going to look to see if there were in-ear noise cancelling headphones, and thankfully this thread has answered!
