ok.

go into control panel and open network connections. Then right click your network connection and click properties. Select TCP/IP from the list and click properties. Put the values from your working list into the two last fields on the page. OK the whole lot and it should start working.

You are correct, all is now working again.

Still can't work out why it stopped working though!

As I said, working all day (as it has been for ages) then switch off, switched on the day after and nothing!
