I want a phone that plays music, and has a good web browser. Not bothered about camera, its a bonus.
ANy more info on the internet browser on the viewty?? I'm drawn to touch screen phones because it appears that the browser will be easier to use than on other phones e.g. SE W910i
Phone will be on Three with unlimited data. I hope this will make up for no wi-fi.
(like the iPhone but don't want to pay for it)
Compared to the K800i and N95, the browser on the viewty is much better. Compared to the iPhone the browser on the viewty is awful ANy more info on the internet browser on the viewty?? The most impressive thing about the viewty for me so far? I charged it up last Thursday morning and only now has it dropped down to one bar on the battery meter, after average use over the past 5.5 days (about 90 mins talking, half an hour on the web, a dozen or so texts and a few pictures and videos). Double the battery life of my old K800i.
I'd always thought the browser on S60 was pretty good overall, it does a darned good job of rendering most web pages that I've tried. And its based on the same rendering engine as Safari on the iPhone.
As for converting of videos - the only reason to do so is to reduce the file size. I've heard of people putting 700meg divx files on the Viewty and it playing fine.
