That's what they will do now, they are pushing 0.1 updates to those with 5 and full 5.0.1 to those without.

My replacement Nexus 5 has arrived from Google Play and I've updated to 4.4.4. I think I'll wait until the dust has settled on the most recent update before I update any higher than this!

Hoping 5.1 gets released pdq for the 2012 nexus7 because mine is buggy as hell, works fine one minute, then freezes, lags, random reboots when it feels grumpy ....

Is it me or is the text really small? I've had to turn on the large font option in accessibility, and this is on a Nexus 7.

I think I'll leave my phone alone as I can't imagine being able to read the text at all on its much smaller screen.

Really like most of the new Android. Two things which are really bugging me:
  • No silent mode - if I turn volume down to zero it vibrates which is probably more annoying than a ring or ting
  • Unable to dismiss a snoozed alarm
Both issues far more annoying than they should be. irked

None = silent mode

https://gigaom.com/2014/11/17/silent-vibrate-do-no...

Or Priority if you want it all silent except alarms and priority calls/messages. In sounds/notifications/interuptions if you turn the priority switches for events/reminders, calls and messages off only alarms are part of the priority.

Set your priority as you want it then just activate it when you need it.

I'll look again, but IIRC none = no alarm, which I need.

ETA. Apols. You're right - I must've misread/misunderstood the priority settings.

Still don't know how to dismiss snoozed alarm though

I updated mine yesterday on a Experia Z1, to be honest I haven't seen any difference yet?

my nexus 5 was going well until 2/3 days ago when now the battery will dive to 0 for no reason. Battery usage from hardware and apps looks normal. but 7 hours with little or no use and its dead. Strange as I have not Installed anything new recently.

I'm glad you said that: I'm pinning my hopes on 5.0.1 pushing to my N4 soon as I've heard positive feedback on the lack of glitches. smile

Mine just came through to.

Think I found the battery issue though, WiFi is off however shows awake on battery monitor. I found a setting for turn off wifi even if phone asleep. WiFi still shows on in advanced battery bar but improvement in my battery.

There's another setting in there somewhere that maintains wi-fi running on lower power just to help with more precise location reporting.
I think it was one of the new request permission dialogs on the first reboot after installing the update.

The option you mention is 'Keep Wi-Fi on During Sleep', whilst the option above it 'Scanning Always Available' is likely a possible source of battery drain also.
