My free Pixel Watch 2 turned up today, I will be selling it.
Annoying thing is, I would have preferred a Bay coloured phone, however I ordered Obsidian thinking I would be sent a watch which matched my phone, assuming a Bay watch would be harder to sell on vs black, transpired I could choose the colour (subject to availability) of watch, I ordered black, a polished silver with Bay strap has arrived!
Bit of a bummer as should have just gone for the Bay phone, hey ho!

Mine arrived too - opened it out of curiosity and it's comically small on my wrist. Looks like a button. It looked beautifully made though, the strap material was lovely and the haptics and display are excellent. I'll be sticking with my Garmin 6X Pro Solar and will give the PW2 to someone else. Maybe if Google decide to do a (much) larger one down the line I could be tempted but this just isn't for me.
Been onto Google Community help and also the online chat help, my Pixel 6 is still having issues with the clock not always displaying on lock screen and always on display. They said try a factory reset. I have already done this and its not fixed it.
The missus Pixel 7 also has this issue now as well, since updating to Android 14, both running the latest December update now and fully up to date in play store.
Google online chat help basically said we can send you out a replacement refurb phone, not convince that is going to solve the issue as we have the same issue on a Pixel 6 and Pixel 7.

I'd try removing one third party app at a time followed by a cold boot each time.
Just to start somewhere and see if it uncovers anything.
I'd be doing it from the Settings menu too, where all apps are listed, rather than the app drawer.
I discovered some Huawei apps which weren't necessary on my dad's P4A a couple of years ago. They were migrated to the new phone from his old phone via the transfer cable when the new phone was being setup. They weren't necessary, and were causing some issue at the time - I just can't remember what the issue was.

Just strange it reared its head straight after Android 14 update, the factory reset I did was a complete factory reset as well, it wasn't a re installation from backup as the backup became corrupt somehow.
The strange how the missus, P7 was fine, literally did the Android 14 update and exactly the same again.

I've had a 6a. For over a year. No complaints. However, I've recently begun trialling a medical device strapped to my leg and controlled by an app on my phone connected by Bluetooth. No probs but when I get into my JCW mini my phone will not connect to the car. It 'sees' the car but won't connect. Thoughts or ideas, anyone ??

I think most phones can only connect to one Bluetooth device at once, so your leg is taking priority.I have the same issue with my wireless Android Auto adaptor, it connects to that, then the car manufacturers app doesn't get any data.

Quite likely a coincidence, maybe. I have had a random thing where my car seems to do the same. My advice would be to turn off bluetooth on the phone. "Forget" the phone on the car's settings, "forget" the car on the phone settings, reboot the car and phone and then turn on bluetooth, and re-pair. Hopefully that should solve it for you.Any consensus on the 8 (rather than 8P)?
I have a P5 which generally I've been happy with, but it is a little disappointing that at less than 3 years old, the charging port seems to be dodgy now, and the phone is getting a little laggy/crashy from time to time.
With £75 of at the Google store, plus £170 trade in and £100 Amex cashback I could get an 8 for around £300.
I'm thinking the 8 as I don't want a massive phone, and I'm sure the step up from the 5 will be significant. Not against the pro but the price over the standard 8 seems high and it's a larger phone.

First major issue with my P7 today, it's struggling to read my fingerprints.
I doubt this is going to improve is it?
That is a recurring complaint about the P7 and P7p. My P7p is about to go in for a screen replacement as it started messing about not recognising fingerprints, then started flickering and now I have to squeeze the sides of the phone to get the screen to go on at all. Not impressed as it is less than a year old... I doubt this is going to improve is it?
