Are there any deals out there at moment for SIM free Pixel 8? Other than get a trade in through Google Store?
Google Store are offering £210 for my Pixel 6 + £120 store credit + some more store credit as I have Google One. Think £145 in total store credit.
My pixel 6 bottom speakers have stopped working yesterday. My 19 month old tipped his bottle of milk over the phone, it was standing up at the time I rescued it quickly and presumed as it has a IP68 rating it will be fine but nope 24 hours later and they still aren't working.
Have found out it's under warranty though so tempted to take it to the EE store (directed to do this by Google support) and see if they can repair it.
So listening to music/ video calls are painfully quiet.
I've got a pixel superfans code for 15% off on the Google store if it will work with the above:Google Store are offering £210 for my Pixel 6 + £120 store credit + some more store credit as I have Google One. Think £145 in total store credit.

Can somebody do me a favour, especially if its a pixel 6.
Can you put music loud on your phone and see where it comes from? on mine now music comes from the speakers at the top of the phone and also one speaker on the bottom right hand side, the left hand side speaker does nothing. Is this correct?
Before I either go to EE store for a repair or order a Pixel 8.

that's correct (P7 Pro, but my P6 Pro was the same, too). Can you put music loud on your phone and see where it comes from? on mine now music comes from the speakers at the top of the phone and also one speaker on the bottom right hand side, the left hand side speaker does nothing. Is this correct?

Ah yep, the phone has survived then, dont see a point in upgrading to the Pixel 8 then right now. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/71576...

My at a glance weather has stopped working since updating to the January security patch the other day...
Still AWOL, yet I can put a weather widget on the home screen and it's got my location/can access the weather app. I get both weather and route to work now.

A Pixel 7 Pro question, well more of a Microsoft Outlook email question. Is there any reason why some emails will not send to people using Outlook? I have sent, or tried to send, emails to various customers and am getting back a message 12 hours or so later saying that delivery has failed. I sent myself an email from the Outlook account to my Gmail account and all went well. It isn't an issue I get with my laptop. Thanks in advance.
Ah back to the speaker drama on my Pixel 6, tried to do a video call last night and the sound was very quiet still, so we did the video call of my partners Pixel 7 instead and it was much louder.
So do I take it to EE store under warranty and get it repaired or just trade it in for Pixel 8
Pixel 8 deal is £210 for Pixel 6, 15% off for Pixel Superfan £104.85, £125 Google Store Credit + Google One Benefit £17.25
So the phone will be £385.15 and I'll get £142.82 in store credit.

So for a nett 243 quid, you will get better cameras, longer software support, new battery, better screen etc etc.So do I take it to EE store under warranty and get it repaired or just trade it in for Pixel 8

Seems like a reasonable deal to me...

Slightly smaller screen and smaller battery though, looking at GSM Arena comparisons between 6,7 and 8 the 7 seems to be the one with the highest rated battery.Seems like a reasonable deal to me...

What sort of e-mail account do you have (POP3 / IMAP / Gmail / Exchange or Office 365 / etc)? While we are talking about e-mail, since my P6Pro (now have an 8Pro), using the inbuilt e-mail APP, I have never been able to e-mail photo's, I've Goggled it and not got anywhere and even my techy geeky colleague seems stumped, had no issues with previous Samsung's or Huawei's, the e-mail just sits in my outbox.
Any ideas?
Thanks

True but you would hope that energy efficiency should have improved over 2 iterations so it should give better operating time.GlenMH said:

The 8 has the worst edurance rating out of the 3, 7 is best and 6 is in the middle.
Surely that cant be right.
