Interestingly I have come to exactly the same conclusion. Had my Fold 2 for a while and for me it has been more of a solution looking for a problem.
I could imagine some use cases where it really works, but like you I found myself using the outer screen more and more.
Going to get an S21U. Want a 512 gb though and they seem to be permanently out of stock.
I do see what you mean there, I almost found my self wondering when to use the larger screen, I never wanted to use it when out and about incase I dropped the thing! I could imagine some use cases where it really works, but like you I found myself using the outer screen more and more.

I went for the smaller memory S21U (and wish I had gone for the 512, as my photos are filling up!) You won't regret the change, the S21 Ultra is an amazing bit of kit, I've found it great to have that camera on me all the time.
There have been some times where I've missed that lovely inner screen of the Fold though. But the S21U screen is lovely and sharp, also the ability to use the 120hz with the full resolution is great.

As opposed to doing what?
I don't know. Other stuff. Spending time with family. Watching a film. Reading a good book. Enjoying a delicious meal...No-one is sat staring at their phone, to the detriment of all else while "waiting" for an update.
Did you really need that spelled out to you?

Just for sts and giggles, I decided to try the 1440P resolution to see if I could notice a difference. Maybe I'm getting old but unless you get your eyeballs really close to the screen, its difficult to discern a difference. The only time I might benefit from it was using it at close range in bed, but even then, my eyes are usually quite bleary if I'm in bed. The phone also seems slightly slower in 1440P, which I guess makes sense. Back on 1080P for me. TBH I've always felt like Quad HD was a gimmick in a phone.

The update came through today, quite large at 1.1gb.
The camera does seem slightly more responsive, and animations do seem smoother.
Mine's not showing an update yet - I'm on Three. The camera does seem slightly more responsive, and animations do seem smoother.
But me constantly checking is stopping me doing other stuff; Spending time with family. Watching a film. Reading a good book. Enjoying a delicious meal...

I have a lowly s20 but thought this thread was good place to ask.
When recording video is there a best setting to use?
There is a choice of HD30, FHD30, FHD60, UHD30, UHD60, and 8K 24. I've been using FHD30 which seems fine also when viewed on a 40" 4k panasonic TV but not sure if I'm missing out. Should I record in UHD30 or 60? I may need a memory card as I understand the files will be much larger.
