This rather confirms my theory - last time this offer was about, my dad and I both snapped them up. Both received ‘vienetta mint’ green. I’m assuming there’s a few pallets full that aren’t being sold...
Nope, I got a green and I think a black (could be brown)

I accidently ordered the one for the FIL to be shipped to my billing address when ordering it.

Mine was delivered Monday....

I assume you were eligible to order earlier as an existing 'silver' customer?

Eventually got it to work. I think when I was trying to share via email, as Gmail is my default mail client. The webpage just wasn't recognising this. Found a workaround though.
Nope I'm still Copper!

Looking for a small torch for £20 or less. Led lenses was recommended but I have had trouble with them and customer service.

Got a klarus Mi1c and love it but it’s discontinued, was about £35 though.

Is there anything you can recommend?
Do you want li-ion batteries? Have you got a charger?

Convoy S2+ is very very good and well under £20.

I really like the USB mini plug on the rechargeable battery. I am looking for 6 of these as small presents for Xmas.

Shame to see the Mi1c discontinued it’s a great pub torch!

I can vouch too for the S2+ hard to beat for the price, available in many colours, led colour (warmth) shades too.

Thirded, mine replaced a lost LED Lenser P7.2 and it's already been used more times in a few weeks than that was over 6 months.

I too was going to recommend the S2+, I have had the BLF A6 for a couple of years and it is really very good, all the torch anyone really needs unless you are in search and rescue. It is a bit longer than the Klarus you mentioned so if you want something with similar form factor then Jetbeam and Astrolux do smaller ones

I think you might struggle with the in built charging for this money. But having a look around, the Convoy S9 offers this:
https://www.banggood.com/2_5A-Convoy-S9-L2-1000LM-...

I haven't used one of these. But if they are on par with other Convoy lights, they should be very good. Only £15 at the mo too.

Like most of the far east distributors there's many variables. I've had stuff from BG in under a couple of weeks and other stuff that's taken months.

Other times of the year I’d say budget on 2-6 weeks. However this time of year they are normally a couple of weeks with just the standard shipping. Do make sure items get dispatched. They sometimes sit on orders and ship out late if they didn’t really have stock. Sadly seems a common trait with Chinese stores like this.

I ordered some bits yesterday from them. Which I hope turn up in good time.

Received an Astrolux A02 today that I had ordered on the 19th Nov.

Also depends where it comes from and how. The S2+ was part of a group buy (I think) shipped from CZ. Came within a week. The L6 and FT03 from CN, predicted to arrive Dec 12, arrived two weeks ago. The last thing before that I ordered, forget what now, based on the tracking info sat in a container on a ship anchored in the Zhuijhang (sp?) river estuary shipping roads, essentially somewhere in the waters between Hong Kong and Macau for what seemed like weeks and weeks.

I feel like I've got a great buy, but I'm also aware I'm now on a rapid road to having a certifiable problem. I just wanted a torch for evening walks and was happy with my amazon crap. Clearly not though.

Just ordered an Olight seeker 2, SR1 Baton II, i3T and i1R2 for £99 - and 10% cashback at topcashback.

That's a bargain, right?!

Can anyone recommend a very small but very bright torch? Price isn't an issue, but size and brightness is. Sorry probably already discussed on here but I've flicked through the past few pages.

How small, and how bright?
Are you looking for on-board recharging or battery and charger?

I'm currently a big fan of Olight products - Seeker 2 is small but mighty - https://amzn.to/36r3qFB

“Very small” so I’d say Batton11
Wifey loves hers.

How small and how bright and more importantly how bright for how long? And are you considering Li-ion?

i.e. what wins. Size or output hehe

High output results in two things:

- High amp draw, which can mean reduced runtimes. And generally small torches have small batteries.
- Heat. Pulling lots of amps results in a lot of heat, a small torch will not be able to shed it very well. Which means most will not sustain high outputs for very long. And/or may become too hot to hold.

I recently got an Astrolux A02. It is a AAA sized torch, although maybe on the slightly longer side of this class. But it will also run on 10140 Li-ion battery and gives truly impressive output for such a small torch. It is rated at 378 lumens. Which for a AAA light is pretty dang good!! Runtimes at max output will not be great however. As a 10140 only have 350mAh capacity.

There are plenty of AA/CR123a lights that support Li-ion (14500/16340). And will often allow 800-900 lumens. But the reality is, this output does not last long. These batteries will generally struggle to sustain the output at this amp draw. And there will be a lot of heat. And runtimes will be very low.

Or if you want to step up a bit. There are things like the EMISAR D4V2 from International Outdoor. These are still pretty small, but a size up. The clever thing here is, you can option an 18350 or 18500 battery tube as well as an 18650 one. The short tubes will reduce the overall length by using a shorter battery.

The short batteries will give less runtime and less time on High. But both batteries offer better performance than a 14500/16340.

The EMISAR D4V2 is also a Quad LED setup and depending on spec, capable of over 4000 lumens for short periods of time.

There are a few lights on the market like this. Some able to offer more lumens if you trade size.

https://intl-outdoor.com/emisar-d4v2-high-power-le...

Showing the different battery tube lengths.

If you want to go a bit bigger you can get up to 10,000 lumens! wink

Sorry I should have been more specific. Something small/lightweight enough to hold in my mouth when doing something with my hands (no I don't want a head torch). So maybe a single CR123a battery or something equivalent size?

As bright as I can get with a single battery. Runtime not important if rechargable, but not too bothered about rechargables either.

What wins (size or brightness)? Size - but must be as bright as money can buy lol

OMG I've just seen the Olight S1R Baton2. 1000 lumens from something so small!!

Can anyone review it? Or any other recommendations for similar price (£50)
