Free mobile power bar for EE customers.
Discussion
I've had one from the first batch - I quite like it. It's a reasonable size to be able to stuff into a pocket and it charges my phone reasonably well. I noticed that my phone (Nexus 4) prefers the supplied cable to a random other micro usb cable - charges quicker using the short cable).
For a 'freebie', it's definitely useful. Not had the chance to try the swap in store for a full-charged one offer. Been a few times when that would have been useful but never been anywhere near a shop to do so.

Really handy this, did it in London, crashed at a mates and forgot my charger, used my EE bar, then went to EE Oxford street and swapped it for a full one, continued to charge, happy days. For a 'freebie', it's definitely useful. Even though it's technically "free" I can't help thinking an Anker from Amazon is the way to go.
I've got both, the Anker is higher capacity and feels higher quality (metal rather than plastic) but if I'm going into a town for the day I'll take the EE one as it can be swapped for a full one. The set up they have at Glastonbury is ideal, it would be good to see them roll it out to more large events. The EE one is higher quality than some of the other freebies I've had, the one my work gave out was particularly cheap feeling

When you swapped it, did you have to demonstrate that you are an existing EE customer or just hand it over and grab the charged one?Origin Unknown said:

Try this might be wrong one knowing my computer skills.

If you get a power bar but later decide to cancel your EE mobile, broadband or tablet contract, you must return the power bar to any EE store within 60 days. If you don't, EE will apply a £5 charge to your bill.
If your power bar's damaged, lost or stolen, you'll have to give it back and/or pay £5 to cover the cost of replacing it – you also won't be able to get a power bar again.
The terms and conditions also say that the charger must be returned to EE after 18 months, when it will decide whether you can get another one.
However, EE says this is in there to allow it to review the scheme as a whole after 18 months – it won't necessarily require individual customers to return the power bar after 18 months and swap it for a new one.
