I disagree that the BB has better email functionality than the iPhone. Certainly HTML email support is very poor on the BB and this is very important to us. Far better on the iPhone.
LOLI am really tempted to make a video and stick on youtube to get my points accross.
I'll tell our CEO that she made a mistake then and ask for her iPhone back? The one she especially requested in addition to her BB as she needed to see HTML emails properly.
Not wishing to participate in this bum fight but you're entirely wrong about html support. Is she running a old Blackberry/Bes set-up or something?
Well at least she got an Iphone from it!

I've never been one to claim the iPhone beats all others, or even that it doesn't have flaws in certain areas or that it might not be suited to everyone. I just find this continued bashing of it and more importantly those who choose to own one really strange.
Just for the record, I'd like to see the following added to the iPhone.
1. A universal messaging in-box, like on the Pre/Android
2. Much more customisation of the home screen, with better application organisation.
3. A physical message indicator - LED or even a flashing Apple logo. Anything!
4. Sync over WiFi
5. Local 'push' service. If we cannot have multitasking, give us a local push service instead.
6. API access to the calendar store.
7. API access to spotlight.
8. Ability to edit the auto-correction list.
9. build quality of the original
I think that's about it.

Maybe we think about 'business phones' here in the UK very differently, but in the US the iPhone is definately a business phone and available on a multitude of business packages and services from AT&T. In fact the company I work for recently consolidated to AT&T across the board. Business packages and services with good tariffs and offered Blackberry or iPhone phones. 90% of people went for the iPhone and this is very much in line with what a lot of other companies have done.
Definately a business phone elsewhere and a massive success. Some see it as a toy, but for those who use for business don't think so.

I wont go into why I don't like the iPhone, but if you look on one of the othe iPhone threads you will see my reasons. It is not for me.
I wish others would realise the iPhone isn't the only phone, there are lots of different needs for a phone.
There is no best phone, only different phones.

I suspect someone has given her bad advice if she thinks a Blackberry can't render html either that or for some technical reason it's not allowed or maybe she just wants a bigger screen?
Either way, it's just wrong.

I have made a video
However it's a 160mb file, is there any way of compressing it to upload to youtube?
What did you make it on?? On my imovie you can upload directly to youtube at the correct resolution, regardless of the actual file size you have created. Does W Movie maker have the same? Maybe something like handbrake, with an ipod setting? However it's a 160mb file, is there any way of compressing it to upload to youtube?
