Anyone found a good leather case that covers the screen, holds a few cards and still works with wireless charging?

I'd also be wary about having to take it back for repair as I don't think that the UK stores would have parts for Chinese versions that are different which could take a while to order.
Are you suggesting the iPhones in China are different to the ones we get?
They are. The HK ones have a dual physical slots for the both sim, the UK versions don’t - just a single slot + an e-sim. It’s built into the phone and can not be removed.
Don’t they also support different 4G LTE bands depending where on the world you buy them?

At a guess I'd say most parts like the screen would be the same but the other internals may be different in order to accommodate another physical sim.

Presumably the screen on the XR is going to be a marked step down from the XS?

I went to take a look at the XS yesterday and the Max just looks and feels too big to me which leaves the XS.

I don't know if it's the screen type, if they have the brightness bumped right up or what exactly, but next to the XS almost every other phone I looked at looked "dead".

The Xr had a lower resolution screen than the Xs and it is also an LCD v oled so I would think that there would be a big difference between the two. After having oled on my last few phones I'd find it hard to go back to LCD.

This is the reason why I wouldn’t get an XR. It would annoy me everytime I looked at it.

The XR is also markedly thicker than the XS range.

Yeah I think I'm already 90% decided on an XS.

Seem to be spending more time exploring cases that won't make it look ste than the damned phone!

And still they all have lower res screens than an average Android phone.

Well a week in on my XS Max and it’s a lot better than the 7 plus I used.

No issues with size or lack of home button and the face recognition is total wizardry- it has no problems at night in total darkness....very clever!

The camera is not inky better and the phone is a noticeable leap from the 7 (not that the 7 is bad!)

Anyone after a mint black 7 Plus, drop me a line and any sensible offers will be considered.

I don't know at what point the technical specs begin to get a little academic and you're just into picking the one that looks "right" to you tbh.

Very much personal preference - some prefer more "vibrant" colour profiles, others not.

Got my XS on release day and love it, also plumped for the watch as well and it just all works together perfectly. Slight issue is that I’ve got an Apple cover on my phone but there’s a bit of play in the top left hand corner of the screen that has only started to happen today so suspect I will need to pop into Apple for them to look at!

No, I charge my XS Max via cable each night and it's not failed to charge yet.

I charge my XS Max on a wireless charging pad I purchased off the interweb and it works a treat.

My wife charges here XS on the same type of wireless pad and she hasn’t had any issues either.

Yes I have noticed this a few times, I have to wake my phone so that it will commence charging.

If the next IOS update doesn’t improve this I will take the phone back to Apple to see what they have to say.

The above refers to plugged in charging.

(I may just buy a wireless charger to be fair).
