I've got an S2...is there a 4G version of it? How do you know if you've got one?
You probably don't, they were pretty carrier-specific in the states, as it made no sense to release them in countries without 4G, and it's impossible to enable it beforehand as different countries use different frequencies.Targarama said:

Any ideas?
I'm guessing your primary email is a exchange server or gmail?Any ideas?
Open up email app >> Menu >> Settings >> select account that has texts syncing with it >> Untick Sync SMS (very bottom)

Who currently has the best deal (cheapest and reliable) for buying an S3 sim free?
telephonesonline.co.ukok guys contract is up for renewal next week and looking at the S3, currently have the Desire HD but dont fancy the X with no expansion slot and pooer battery as the HD has been pretty dire for battery life!
so are all you guys happy with your purchase? seems a few good deals around since they released details of the Iphone 5 which is handy!

Yep; had a small grin on Wednesday when I realised the iPhone 5 didn't have anything 'more' than the S3!The best thing about it is battery, get 2 days out of easily

orrrrrrrrr do I hand on a couple of weeks for the 4g versions to be released along with the new windows HTC phones and the Note 2 (which does look rather nice but I bet will be pricey!) which dhould bring the S3 prices down a tad more too? hmmm!
4g is all hype. EE claim they will have coverage in 16 cities by the end of the year and 70% by the end of 2013. Other carrier wont be launching 4g until 2014 (they can't by the spectrum until then). So, iffy coverage and extra expense (with EE you need a orange/t-mobile contract and will then have to pay extra for 4g). On top of that as it stands the new iphone wont have 4g on the other networks.
I don't see 4g being of interest until 2014 at least and even then will be pricey.
I dont overly care about 4G as the 3G is generally s
te enough anyway! but just thinking that the 'lesser' models may come down in price, I do not want to be with Tmobile again and would like to go back with O2 (wish I'd never left!) but they have only just started to offer a couple of half decent deals on it so wondering whether a couple of weeks wait may save me quite a bit of dosh!
