Has anyone joined the Pixel Superfan thing?
Joined it last year nothing decent has come of it yet. I've applied to test their latest stuff as I can get into London in about 40 minutes. I think their latest email was to win a footballs shirt from either England Women or Arsenal Men/Women or Liverpool Men/Women.
As a West Ham fan, dont really want any of them.

Yeah that did kind of read like they found some stuff lying about the office no one wanted didn't it..... I think their latest email was to win a footballs shirt from either England Women or Arsenal Men/Women or Liverpool Men/Women.

I also put my name down for the testing thing, I'm sure thousands would do as well so let's see if anything comes of it.
Has anyone's Pixel ever randomly stopped connecting to their mobile network?
I've been without it for 24 hours now - I'm with EE through 1P mobile, it's showing the 4G or 5G symbol (depending where I am), but the little signal bar has a '!' in it and I can't get any mobile network.
WiFi works fine. There's no reported EE issues in the area (parents are both on EE with no issue), I've restarted the phone half a dozen times, removed and reinserted the SIM, reset network settings (which didn't seem to do anything)...
Any suggestions? I'm away next week for work so need a working phone

You could try resetting your network connections, but you'll lose your saved WiFi and Bluetooth pairings.
This is what I tried initially, although it seemed to still remember my WiFi settings as it automatically reconnected to our home WiFi after a restartoakdale said:
If you go to sim and network settings on your 1p account, does it show the sim as being live?
It does. However I managed to get through to their online chat and they confirmed they've had lots of reports over the past 48 hours about the issue so they're looking into it.. So seems to be a network issue rather than a phone issue, which I suppose is preferable although they don't have an ETA on getting the issue sorted..

Picked up a 6 Pro a couple of weeks back to replace a Huawei P20 Pro.
Are there any recommendations for a wireless charging stand for it?
I got the pixel stand which is very good, pricey but if you've got any Google store credit to use then it's a good option. Are there any recommendations for a wireless charging stand for it?
I've downloaded various photo and video files from my 6 Pro today, saved to my pc and to an external hd, but the MP4 video files are problematic. On playback the video is laggy, like slow motion, it freezes up, pixelates etc, but the audio is fine. It's the same when opened up with a selection of media players. I've not had this problem before.
Could this be a problem with my phones recording or my players? Previous older saved videos from this phone are fine. The current batch play fine on the phone too, just not when saved.
Thanks for any suggestions.

First instinct is that its codecs missing from your players.
MP4 is just a file format or "container", and the video content is contained within that but encoded/compressed using any number of possible codecs.
It seems this specific codec is likely not installed on your computer with any of your existing media players.
Do a search on adding codecs to your chosen media players.
Or if you sync G Photos from your phone to your online account open G Photos in the browser and download the video from there. See if your players support that downloaded version.
Or upload it to YouTube on your phone using your account and download it on your computer in the browser. That'll be another common codec for video.
That's just a few options.
