Switching off roaming profiles

How is this done?? I've found the following article on it

but to me its about as clear as mud. Can someone with some knowledge in this area please clarify it for me with a complete idiots guide??

Our setup is as follows: Windows 2003 SBS, with clients all on XP

This is assuming you've got a domain running:

Create an Organisational Unit in Active Directory, put the machine accounts in it for which you want to disable roaming profiles.
At this point it becomes much easier if you've got the Group Policy Management (GPM) app installed.

In GPM Create and link a new policy to the OU you've just created, and then edit it to set the setting for disabling RPs.

And make sure you've saved anything you want out of the profiles before you start yes

Profiles will still exist, and will be accessible from all computers that don't have the policy applied to them.
