Projectors - bought this for the old man???
Discussion
It's my dad's birthday on Monday and he has just discovered he has cancer, I asked him what he wanted for a present and he hinted he would like a projector and some funds towards it would be great. Given the circumstances I decided to buy one for him.
It's mostly for PC based presentations as he is chairman for the World Ship Society in his region and does a lot of presentations etc.
I was recommended this and on a whim have purchased it, before I give it to him is this an O.K. bit of kit? I opted for XGA as opposed to SVGA????

Cant comment on that particular model but Optoma are a good little company. Their AV projectors are great performers at the price point.
Sorry to hear about your father.
Cheers Matt, I caught a printout at dad's from Just Projectors and had a chat with them today - seem on the level.Sorry to hear about your father.
